Looking sweet! IS that cover indicative of the quality of the drawings to be inside? I realize it won't be color, but is the B/W drawing to be of similar skill?

Actually, with one exception, the outer images of the space crafts are full color. The quality of the art ranges from the Twinsai (drawn and colored by myself) to a professional italian artist who does some amazing artwork. The deck plans are also black and white. I'll be posting most of the images inside with links to the artist's pages later this week as part of the previews.

The print version will be grayscale.

Thrust 11, is that something that some Mongoose supplement introduced? I vaguely recall that my traveller core rulebook only went to thrust 6.

The small craft rules in High Guard allow up to thrust 16.

It really is amazing just how fast a ship can travel when it is not burdened by a jump drive and enough fuel to make that jump.

I like the fact that it is immune to it's own main weapon.....

12 points of armor and 3 points of reflec....

Not completely, Max Damage and a high Effect from the beam weapon could score a single hit. Highly unlikely, but still possible. Remember its an accurate weapon so it gets an additional +1 to hit. Then there's the Weapons Control/5 software which could give you an additional +1 to hit or make the shot for you if you don't have that high a gunner skill.
