model aside, do you guys think they flubbed this one up ? by comparison to the carrier it seems very underpowered. its hull and crew are very low, it has the same amount of pulsars as a ws2, has a 5+ dodge, and only really gains 2 beams over a WS2.
if they had upped the crew and hull, as well as the AD of the pulsars, then I think it would be fine. but for a war level ship, it really blows. I played with a carrier the other day. and it felt like I had a war level ship. the two games before that I brought gunships, and both times they were crewed in one volly. what do you all think ?

Its a big pile of junk. It would make a great battle level ship with its current stats. I quite like the model though, when it is painted decently.

It's funny, we all have this situation where we have no "official" obligation to not tell anything yet reasonably know the limits of what to tell as things we let slip may raise expectations unreasonably or cause a backlash based upon a lack of knowledge of the new rules (or heaven forbid, because it's unbalanced and we made a mistake )

personaly i think they should just use the WS gunship mini for the heavy WS and scrap the gunship stats all together. i mean the basic WS is prety much already a gunship in its own right.

read matts status of 2e - the whitestar 2 is basically down at raid as a slight variant with the gunship coming in at battle.
