ISA Question

Hello all
Im trying to find the miniature for the Tara' Lin and failed so where can i find one or is it disguised as another ship ^^.
I dont own the new books yet but they are ordered (maybe there are pictures in them which would help me)
can anyone guide me to this ship ^^ ?

Yep. It's a Sharlin with no visible differences. Pull one from your Minbari fleet or start a Minbari fleet.

I would have to "start" a minbari fleet ^^ but i guess thats the way with the ISA.. you end up having Vree, Gaim, Minbari, ... and what not.
But thats cool i like to have diversity.

So if i would like to use a lot of Whitestar Fighters the carrier would be the way to go.. if i want guns and stealth i should use the Tara'Lin.. correct?

But i guess thats the price one has to pay who pursues this kind of hobby..
At least my Girl plays as well ^^.

But ah one more thing ^^ which fleet composition would be good for 5 point battle or war (i dont like small battles ^^)

ISA? Depends on your style of play and whom you are opposing. With ISA and that many "points" you have so many options. Being able to dragoon League assets into your fleet is a big advantage. Assess your enemy and make a decision based on that.
Having your Lady play as well is indeed a BIG advantage. At least she understands your xmas list. ;>

I guess im going for Fighter heavy Lists...
So Whitestar Carrier, Gaim Stuteeka (only one ) and Vree Xeel ships.
Accompanied by Bluestars and Whitestars and Gunshpis.
Dont know exactly in which quantity but i guess thats the style i want to play.

Maybe i can fit a Tara'Lin in as well... i dont like the Victory that much i have to admit so i guess that one i will rarely use.

All three of those races have good anti fighter defences of one sort or another. You will have your hands full.

So i will have challenging matches if i understand you right. But will i stand a chance of winning?
Not that i have problems with losing a game... but getting butchered all the time would cause me trouble .

Well, you always have a "chance". Consider their fleet before deploying your fighters. EA will deploy his and try to screen you out before you get to his AF. The Narn will simply share emine love with your fighters and frag them if you deploy them too early. The Vorlon may or may not use his fighters to screen you before you hit his AAF. Timing and deployment. Should be interesting fights if nothing else.

So its actually a matter of timing ^^ that sounds good. And i guess its always good to swamp an enemy vessel with fighters, that the AF gets too busy to fight them all off.

It's much nicer if you can take out the AF with a critical hit. Much more enjoyable than running the guantlet.
I am always playing with my ISA fleet, trying out different combinations and tactics. You can't always count on having things your way. Especially in a campaign or tournement. I've tried taking out the Narn without using ships from hyperspace. Usually a bloody proposition. Experiment. Have fun.
