ISA fleet questions

Mongoose
I'd search this topic but you guys are all on your game so I am going to just toss the question out in the air......

ISA....The Liandra and Nolo'Tar are considered "Unique" fighters...in every table top game I have played, the word Unique means only one.

Is this the same? I did search my question and have seen similar posts but the ones I came too mentioned having multiples of these ships.

Thanks!

the Liandra is unique, which means only one.
the nolo'tar is not unique so have as many as you want to fit into the size game you playing.

there are only 2 unique ships in the game so far - the liandra for the ISA, and the excalibur for the EA

Thanks buches for yourn reply...now with this said....my second part of my question...

Are the nolo'tar ships worth taking?

See this thread for a consideration of the Nolotar.

General consensus is that it is not a good support ship for White stars. However it does make a good support ships for some of the non-WS stuff like the Tara Lin. It is also a decent vessel in its own right for small games where you cannot afford WS-variants.

Hopefully if Mongoose release the Valen and the Enphili then there will be more choice and variety to the ISA fleet, with Nolo'Tars being difficult choices to make. At the moment, they have their place but as you say, they don't complement a pure White Star fleet very well.

yeah...the more I read into the fleet book....I'm screwed if we play anything earlier then 2258 or so......and that was my intentions was to play pure ISA White star type.

I may be doing Minbari or EA too it looks like....

crapcrapcrap... :x :?
