OK, I won't deflate you...but that means I can't say anything more on the topic :(

Well you know what they say, no news is good news.

Although in this case it might not be so applicable.......

We're hearing news of the Carrier and Mothership both being very near now...

No confirmed dates but at least they are imminent (well, soon enough anyway).

And still no word from Matt about wether those of us who sheeled out for the miscast monstrosisty of the Mark1 version will have it replaced. I have 5 of them still in there boxes still shrink wrapped. Come on Matt, you said you would consider exchanging is that still an option?

Alternitively, I suppose I could open them, discover they are all miscast and return them

You wanna take that risk?

If they do exchange them... do they have to be MIB  ?

I have nothing new to report, I mailed Mongoose, and they didn't reply about it this time :-( (so far)
I'm taking that as a bad sign.

Hiff, if I was you, I wouldn't believe a single bloody word about it until you actually have the model in your hand.

I still can't believe it's taken this long to sort out. Whatever happened to customer service?

to be fair, Chris (I tihnk it's Chris) seems every bit as piddled off as I do about the whole thing, possibly cos i keep mailing him ;-)

You've seen Shadshank Redemption right? ;)
Next time I'm in ID Gaming I'll look out for "hiff was here" carved into the ceiling.

"Checks in the post, i wont come in your mouth and the Drakh mothership is out this week.........."

I suspect there just having problems with the design and cost. Its gotta be a big model. Which is a lot of "lead" for a solid model. Which means itll cost a fair bit of cash to produce.

Alternatively Itll be hollow. Which will be more costly to tool to produce. Or itll be in parts. Again not cheap.

Or plastic to save on production cost. But i dont think mongoose do plastic do they?

Ill not be surprised if it never makes the shelves. But if it does i expect itll have to be expensive to cover manufacturing costs.

you cause me pain!!

hmm, Easter soon, maybe I'll convert an Easter agg to be my mothership..

That would be Shawshank Redemption Burger, and yes, I could see Hiff turning out like Brooks.

Bah! Too small. Find an emu egg, it'd be about the right size for a Drakh mothership.

:D

Hiff,

You could try this as an interim Drakh Mothership. It's a pretty cool fig. CZuchlag has one.

I don't think you are going to have long to wait now - the Carrier is in the last stages of sculpt, and I am told the Mothership will be complete in a week or two. . .
