Is it ok to mention other companies stuff?

I saw a product made for a different SFRPG by a different company that had nothing to do with traveller BUT that I believe would make a good purchase for most traveller reffs and players as it could be very useful for traveller and easily adapted to traveller.

Is it ok to name and describe it here or is this for mongoose products only? I'd like to describe it as I think some traveller gamers would like it but don't want to be seen as pushing another comlanies produsts on mongoose's forums.

Its a free world. I suppose the worst they can do is ban you for it. But I feel Mongoose are one of the more enlightened companies around, they will probably be interested to know what it is themselves, I know I would be.
