Does anyone know anything about when they will be ready to produce and sell ACTA miniatures? I just don' see the point in paying sometimes a 100% mark up to some of the robbers on eBay for some of the ships I want orsending off to America bacause all UK shops are sold out!
 
Nothing on their homepage that they will produce ACTA Miniatures and nothing on their forums.

Hopefully the new ACTA stuff will be available in Germany too. It's hard to nearly impossible to get rest miniatures by now as nearly no suppliers are left with stocks.
 
Surely somebody should have heard something by now? I would be suprised if they weren't keeping Mongoose themselves informed and would have thought that somebody within their company would monitor this forum, after all arne't we the people who will be buying their miniatures if and when they are ready to sell them?
 
odd there isn't even one mention on the site, you would think that if they have produced miniatures and had sold them there would at least be a bit in the "whats new" section??

I've sent both IWM and Matt Sprange an email asking for any information they have, so I'm waiting to hear back.
 
I;m gonna go out on a limb and hazard a guess that yes he has asked them, I reckon he possibly has because he says in a post above he has. . . :?

Dunno if this means for commercial sale or not but hope it does!

I've not had a reply from IWM though.
 
Ok, just got a reply from IWM here it is:

'Hi Simon !

Well, at the moment, we are still sorting through all of the molds we picked up from
the folks at Mongoose. We are going through each of them, spinning each mold to
figure out which ones are useable and which ones need to be re-made.
Some of them appear to be quite worn out, and no longer produce full spins of good
figures, so these will have to be re-made.
At this time, we plan to pick the ones with a good molds and release them as soon as
we can. As time goes on, we intend to have regular releases of the Bab 5 figs from
the new molds.
I dont have any information regarding the release dates or prices yet, but keep checking
our website for announcements and release dates.

Thats because we can see what your doing and you can't see us...but as soon as theyve got them outta the metal works I'm getting s new fleet or two!

Especially some Centauri minis I don't know why nobody uses the Darkner - 3 dice beam, precise!
 
Sweet. Given the quality of a few of the ships I picked up at the end-of-range closeout, I can imagine their dismay at some of the moulds. Good to know they are remaking them though.

Thanks Chandler, that clarifies their current position - if all goes well then within a month we may see *some* on sale and over time the rest will come online. I'm guessing the best quality moulds will be the ones Mongoose made themselves (particularly their newest ones) as they have seen the least use.
 
Hopefully some of the moulds are broke and have to be remade.
The Olympus is now too small, it's a joke
Sentri are to small as well.
Myrimdon needs to be made more EA like.
Adira & Liati needs to be done more like the way i did them.
