Hey Midden face, how do you get a star background. Is that an after program edit?
Call me Ian, I really don't mind
Export model as a 2D PNG
1. In Photoshop, magic eraser (or rubber to us brits) the backdrop,
2. You should ave a transparent backdrop,
3. 3 then create new layer,
4. Put new layer underneath image.
There you go edit that new layer to your hearts content.
Me I like gradient fills, then used Universe to draw stars, usually I draw my own.
One little issue, there some white bits around the edge, I can get rid of these by rubbing them out (erasing), colouring or adding inner glow to the image layer.
I'm assuming you use white, white isn;t the best colour, especially if some sections of the image are white, so use bright green like the green screens in movies. You can paint behind the object to fill in bit that the erasing have removed.
Not 100% certain but I think gimp can do most of the same things I have noted above.
