Hi guys

A friend of mine is working on A crossover RPG of Traveller RPG and The Infinite Space DS Game and wants to know how politically powerful A noble family is when the mother was born A Baron, earned the title of Earl and is a general in the royal guard, the father/head of the family was born A Earl, earned the title of Duke, is the supreme commander of his races armed forces and is the kings most trusted advisor, the daughter is the youngest admiral in her races history, her brother is the youngest special forces general in his races history, the grand-daughter is engaged to the crown prince and the grandson is engaged to the princess who is 3rd in line to the throne

Define "how politically powerful"?

On what scale or in what arena? The ability to affect the economy - especially if it's a world which deals with a lot of off-world megacorps - is not necessarily driven by the same factors as your ability to affect 'local' law, or to deploy the military.

Are those intended to be imperial titles? Because a Duke is normally a planetary 'governor' noble. If they're not, then anything else is meaningless without defining the race they're attached to; you've essentially handed them near enough complete control of that races crown and military, but if said crown controls a population 1,000,000 TL12 world and their military is two 10 dTon light fighters and a far trader with a BB gun mounted on the airlock......

Mileage varies.

This is an obviously very well connected aristocratic family, and it's power would be higher than the titles they are holding.
