:lol: Ha Ha!!! Yeah man tell me about it!

I started playing in July 2005 with a core rules set and two boxes of hoppers. I only found one person intersted in playing (cordas). I let the box rest for a while before selling the lot on Ebay! I stayed with mongoose for a bit lookin on the website until I finally decided last summer ( about August again) that I really loved the game and still wanted to play it even if I only had one opponant.

Since than I've collected a decent MI force of PAMI (about 1800 points). An Arachnid army of about 1500 points and My skinnies are currently weighing in at just over 2000!!

Like I say even after getting rid of this game once I knew I was impressed enough to never touch 40k again. In a gaming sense anyway as I still like to paint some of the GW figures. But their game sucks compared to SST.

Unfortunately, my 12 year old nephew seems enamored with the 40k iconography. I am subverting that hopefully with the Roughnecks DVDs. As long as I can get him and my kids to game, I think thats a good thing (keep the hobby going).

I got into it right after Origins. I was sold as soon as I demoed it. I got my bow in July and am just now finishing up painting them. Of course it has nothing to do with the fact that I also played several other minis games, including B5 ACTA.

Within a couple of months of it's release. Took me about 6 months to finish building and painting my armies 'tho due to work commitments (and lots of games of ACTA eating up my spare time).
