How Are Dampers Applied to Group Attacks?

Angle Screen is a reaction like the Point Defence Reaction. It is performed, and presumably applied, on an attack before the attack roll.

How is the Dampers applied to a nuclear salvo or group of Fusion guns:
Should the Dampers kill a few missiles? How?
Should the Damper prevent some damage before armour is deducted?
Should the Damper prevent some damage after armour is deducted?

Note that the Dampers are used before armour is applied in the damage sequence.
When the Damper is used against a single weapon the result is the same, but not for a group of weapons.

Part of this is clear enough on page 20:
"A successful use of a nuclear damper against a fusion weapon or salvo of nuclear warheads (whether they are on missiles or torpedoes) reduces its damage by 2D and removes the Radiation trait."

The other part, about when it is used - I think I would argue would be damage received after figuring out armour. Naturally this is not the actual use of a dampener AFTER armour, but it would further improve nuclear dampeners (and screens) in showing that they can affect more "damage" by simply reducing it enough so that armour eliminates it.

That is probably the simplest solution, but not what the rules say.

"Angle Screens (Gunner)
Using a screen, a gunner can attempt to deflect or reduce incoming attacks. The type of attack that can be nullified in this way depends on the type of screen being used. The gunner must succeed at a Gunner (screen) check against an attack and, if successful, he will reduce the damage of the attack by the number of dice rolled by the screen (as noted in its description), multiplied by the Effect of his check."

"Angle Screens (Gunner)
Using a screen, a gunner can attempt to deflect or reduce incoming attacks. The type of attack that can be nullified in this way depends on the type of screen being used. The gunner must succeed at an Average (8+) Gunner (screen) check (1 round, DEX) against an attack and, if successful, he will reduce the damage of the attack by the number of dice rolled by the screen (as noted in its description), multiplied by the Effect of his check. The damage is deducted from the attack just after armour is deducted (Core, p158). "
