Hostages

Do people use this rule? it seems overly penalizing to the loser ?! esp. in the early gang days.

Do you have Death on the Streets, which revises the rule? A hostage is taken on a 6, rather than 5 or 6, and requires a gang member to be assigned as a guard.

Works well for us - it stings a lot, but less often.

Yes, I use it. You are right, it is nasty, but I like it.

Hasslefree are now selling the target miniatures hostage minis, they are VERY nice. WOul dbe great for a hostage scenario.
