Horn sharpener:
(...) the horn sharpener is a must for horn-battlers. Requiring a few minutes a day of use to keep his horns' sharp points, a minotaur that uses his horns in combat more than once a week will begin to suffer -1 damage each week that he does stick to the daily sharpening routine, caused by dulling and chipping.

My english is not very good, but... it shouldn't be he doesn't

If I don´t use the horn sharpener I will do one less damage, isn't it?

Dear All,

There was that documentary film on Channel 4 a few years back about New York in which a cheese grater was advised for that very purpose....

Regards

Thank you for the reply, Bry ;)

Another question about your book
I don´t know understand the waertagi water lantern.
How much time lasts the light exactly? And how much must I pay to refill it completely?

And another possible mistake:
PAGE 80: Mercantilist Scale and Trolling Lantern are not explained. There is not description :?: :!: Could you complete this?

Words confuse me  sorry
Eih! great book! ;)

If you do the math listed on page 90, it can last up to 5 hours for 50 SP of oils. It is listed strangely for non-english speakers, so I could see the confusion.

The mercantilist scale is fully described on page 80, mid-page. The trolling lantern got cut last minute and apparently didn't come off of the table too. The trolling lantern was a beacon-style lantern used to blind Uz with focussed beams of light.

Hope that helps! :)

Thankyou very much! Really, I am grateful for the effort.

So, should I forget the trolling lantern? Or does it have any special rule?

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it...

...consider it nothing more than a God Learner ploy to make questers think they are safe from those horrible Uz. :)

And how would you translate this in game mechanics?

Have the merchant sell the pc's the lantern, explaining how you use it to focus a beam of light at the Uz, so blinding them.
When the players come across an Uz and try to use it, ask them to roll %age dice.
If they fumble, they drop the lantern and it breaks
On any other result The Uz just uses his Darksense to walk up to them and bop them over the head with his maul/mace/club/fists (as appropriate). If the character survives, they can try complaining to the merchant to see if they can get their money back... (if the player complains, ask them why they thought using a lantern to blind a creature that doesn't need light would ever be a good idea...)
