Well your point is equally as valid or invalid - you can't argue that it's worthless for everyone to order from Japan just because you have to pay import duty.

All I'm saying is that it works for a lot of people.

And it is here that you make your mistake.
I've stated the import duty issue as that «can» happen in my case (and globally the case for non-EU goods coming into the EU, by law). Sometimes I pay them, sometimes I don't, but I must assume that I will pay them always to decide on the bargain.

And I never said that it's worthless for everyone, that are your words.

Well when you constanty post in a thread about HLJ that you often have to pay extra for import duty, then it sends a certian mssage. And MY point is that anecdotal evidence is worth very little in the long run.

Calm down. Fanaticus said that he had to pay in Portugal, I posted saying that in the UK that I don't have to (touch wood) as long as the parcel is marked as a gift, and said that this might work for him as well.... He then replied to me that that doesn't work for him all the time. Then you jumped down his throat Lord Nagle.....

It is YOUR point that starts to be definitely anecdotal, and yes, also worths very little or nil in the long run.

Imagined statements that I didn't said, shout some arguments against that very same imaginary statements... definitely should read things more carefully or refrain that imagination a bit.

Break it up you two.... don't make me send you both hunting with Cheney.

Thats uncalled for.... the only people who should be forced to go hunting with Cheney is his shaved monkey of a boss, and the teflon guy himself phoney tony.

So I imagined that you said you sometimes pay import duty? Cos my only point was that not everywhere has to pay it.

Its already been dealt with now walk away, beofre I let Hiro's vice president use you for target practice.

Who can say what you've imagined or not in the mist of your quest for anecdotal evidences, instead of just reading the text?
