I have bought way too many boxes of this game. I sold some of my toy soldier collection, so I could afford to buy MP miniatures. To date I have 80 MEA infantry, 16 fedayeen, 4 boxes of USMC, 2 abrams tanks, 2 PLA APCs, 3 PLA tanks, 2 boxes of PLA infantry, and 9 techs!!

All orginal wave 1 or wave 2 models.

I have been told, the sculpts and paintings have greatly improved of Wave 1.5 over Wave 1. What incentive could MP give me to buy Wave 1.5 USMC models??

It would be nice if I could get some of those, maybe trade in some of my wave 1 USMC to do it? The MEA I'm not worried about since I repainted, and resculpted all my Wave 1 models of them. They look so much better now, and included complete removals of some of the headresses, some leaders have prayer shawls and such. I really am getting into the MEA, and have included all kinds of obsolete vehicles to enhance the game. I even when as far as having GF9 make a special gaming table just for this game. Should be delievered sometime in June. Will be running games at local cons in my area once I'm completely set up. This was no easy task for me to do, being retired and on a very small pension.

Any bonuses for the faithful, MP?

It was a Big investment, but I feel it will be worth it. Like I said I sold alot of my old plastic toy soldier collection to be able to invest in MP's gaming system and models. Something I could never do normally. And, yes you will be invited to spend the day gaming at my home once I have everything set up. This will also include lunch!

I take care of my guest. I hope to have Dave, and Mike with us too.

Sign me up to... I have to work 50hr weeks for the last 20yrs along with my wife to afford this stuff. (hobbies sure are expensive) :lol:

It is a commonplace, on TMP anyway, that you can't die unless you have painted everything on your "paint pile". I'm going to live to see 40K come true at that rate...

lol well i have piles of stuff under the bed to paint although its going for a kull soon as it hits ebay. RSI has killed my painting pretty much so the prepaint has been a hobby saver for me .

my spare time is mostly spent in pub, reading game books and 2 weeks a year working !!! oh and teching one of me kids the art of wargaming and making balistic weapons

oh and anoying you guys on the forum, wich i do better some days than others

PLA - 4 Infantry boxes, 2 Type 99s, an IFV, and a FAV
Euros - 5 Warriors, 4 infantry squads, 1 Challenger, and a SAS squad
Of course, those are just the MGP units.

LOL. I painted all my miniatures once and then MGP said said SST was dead....

Oh well now that its a year later they seem to be going in the right direction.

Thank goodness my Hoards collection will keep me alive forever while I paint them!

Dorb, nice basement. One suggestion though from a guy who lived through a few floods...

Get those games off of the floor! Put a shelf or set of shelves in that corner.

The first flood I went through I was about 12 years old and the insurance adjuster who paid out for the damaged stuff DEvalued my comic book collection. Some of those comics could now buy me a new truck!!!

Some of the games you have there appear to be ones which are no longer in print, I'd definitely get them off the floor.

Just friendly advice from a guy who's gottent he short end of the stick leaving things on the floor (ruined stereo speakers as well).
