Hero Cults in Rq

Well, i am doing some work on Gm a group in Pavis and Big Rubble and lately i have been reading a lot of the supplements from Ian Thompson (in cooperation with other writers) and i want to know if anyone knows about if any of the herocults has been converted to RQ3. I have already a writeup on Opili the Defender, but i want more.

Hi,

Simon Phipp (Soltkass) has done a load of Heroquest to Runequest translations, although it is RQ3, it is still easy to use. We have been playing a Pavis RQ using all the hero cults from Simon's site.

And the address is http://www.soltakss.com/hwconv02.html.

Ian gave me permission to convert all his HW/HQ cults, so they should all be there. If you find any that aren't, let me know and they will appear, as if by magic.

Hope this is not regarded as off-topic, but I have been looking and cannot find any fully developed versions of Kab Tolat Solf. Does anyone know if and where it exists?. It seems to be just listed in most of the references as one of a large pantheon, and before I rush off and invent some backgound, I'd rather have a confirmation that little exists in terms of the cult definition?

Hi All,

I did a write up of Tolat as worshipped by third age Amazons (Marazi) for Tradetalk, two issues back I think. I am not sure if there is any more information in Revealed Mythologies and Missing Lands, but they have Vithelan religious details in there. Tolat is the Red Planet, associated with Dara Happan war god Shargash and the Praxian spirit cult of Bronze Treasure as well. However Teshnan religion is complex and Tolat is now an intergrated with the worship of Solf, a Lodril like deity. My Glorantha Lore is a bit rusty tonight, so you will need to check the details. Otherwise the revelations of this deity are relatively new to Gloranthan fans and there is little work done on him to the best of my knowledge.
