Hello, I am a noob with a few questions... ok a lot of Qs

First off this game looks interesting. Should be fun to play a lot of history twist games like A neo-Revolution UK vs. USA. Or WWIII  (God I hope that does not happen  )

So anyways, I spotted an article about this game in scrye magazine, they said is was an easy game. Is this true? most games like this are too difficult like At-43, flames of war, war hammer, etc.

The minis are quite nice. What scale are they? and how much would I need to buy to star an army? Roughly, I don't need an exact number.

Are jets, chopers, in the works for air strikes?

More importantly is Germany planed for a future release? Come on leopard! eheheh

does this compnay have a magazine for tips N' trick for games and terrain building? if so hom much is the subscription and can you get it in the U.S. ?

This game uses a point system right? and Dice right?

Has anyone made a "tank country" terrain board. I hate cities, open land to blast the hell out of tanks... 8)

I think thats about all my questions... This game seems more popular than I thought it would be. :?

THE GAME IS ABOUT TACTICS NOT FIRE POWER, COVER IN THIS GAME IS YOUR FRIEND OR THE GAME JUST LASTS 1-2 TURNS FIRE POWER KILLS

WE ENJOY IT AS WE CAN PICK UP AND PLAY AND ALWAYS FEILD FULLY PAINTED ARMIES.

sorry for caps just made it faster to answer.

wow thats a lot of Q's.

the rules are quite simple, downloadable off some where, and they come in every box, i think every.

the scale is slighty smaller than a IG cadian, with a shorter base.

two squads, and a tank are enough to start playing really.

Air assets are coming along, the super cobra and lynx are in a month or two.

germans are on the books.

the magazine is free downloadable pdf called signs and portents

sure someone would off, but cover really is your friend.

it does use points, and uses d6 and d6 dice.

You sold me on the German issue. I will buy a few Americans and chinese maybe... I should place an order after my history finals, otherwise, I will end up spending my time on this game, end up failing my finals, drop out of school and no money to buy toys... I mean action figures.

But no one can stop me from creating the Kursk. Open land = Tanks Country... yeah there will be a few trees here and there.

By the way how much space is needed for a battle field? is 5 feet x 7 feet good enough?

EDIT: by the way thanks all!

5x 7 is an od size but definatly good, we play mostly on 4x4 and 6x4 for big games but plan to extend thta ones a friends games room has been decorated.

as for kursk that wasnt an open battle feild there was many rolling hills ditches, and it consisted of thousands of tanks so lucky hits didnt win it was numbers and tactics.

the game is fast paced and mobility and cover will win you your games.

Enjoy the game, it is remarkably simple, but at the same time once you get going playing you will find there is a fair bit of depth there (probably a lot more than we are aware of yet).

If you hold off till after your finals *good luck with em* in the summer then air units will be out and maybe the 1st of the German units the Leopard 2. (No infantry on the schedule yet, but MGP are only saying 2 steps ahead at the moment.)

If you spend about $120 you should be able to get 2 small starting armies and the main rule book when its released (in a couple of weeks).
