Has Anyone in the US Received Their Rulebook?

Alliance is the biggest US games distributor, and they've had the books and squadron boxes in their West Coast warehouse since last Wednesday. The Central warehouses didn't have anything as of this morning according to my store owner. Whether any of their warehouses have shipped I don't know. If they're telling your FLGS there's a fixed street date when Mongoose is saying otherwise, it's likely that there's a miscommunication somewhere that Matt needs to fix ASAP.

The street date is correct for US distribution.

So its gonna be another week until I get my book? ugh. :? I could just tell myself one more week, but I or others have been telling me one more week for almost a month now.

:( Don't mind me, just uselessly venting. I should be used to messed up releases in this industry by now.

You could order it from ADB; they have it listed in their store. But the shipping may be more than you want to spend, unless you combine orders with someone else or get more items to make it worth it.

I pre-ordered from my local game store because the owners are my best friends. :D

The 15% off I got because it was Black Friday helped too. Dang though, I was expecting this to be in my hands by mid-december, not mid-january. I bought the book because I was a fan of both B5:ACTA and a fan of the Star Fleet Universe (via inheriting an assortment of books from my dad). I was expecting to just read it, but I've actually got 3-4 people interested in the game, but they want to see it first, and I'm worried I won't be able to keep their interest for much longer. :( I want to play damnit!

Clarification please; I have not received my book or minis and after a request to sales the response I received was:
The book will be on its way to you now and should be received shortly.

The Fleet boxes are pre-orders and so will ship when they are ready, at the moment we estimate this to be early February.

Kind regards

We expect to fulfil all mail orders for fleet sets made before Christmas before the end of this month.

I just checked the War Store. Com and they have the rulebook in stock. Unfortunately for me I also ordered the ship cards so I have to wait until they come in for my order.

Still have not recveived my pre-ordered rule book. The previous post on shipping I believe said they were all shipped as of last Friday. There is no where in the US (except Alaska or Hawaii) that should take 5 days to ship to. I got the rule from ADB and it arrived 2 days after I ordered it.

Time to e-mail Mongoose customer service.

Mine is post marked Jan 3rd, it arrived to our PO Box on Jan 9th. That's four business days to go from Ohio to Florida, if it was shipped to our residential address that would have added another day.

I can drive to Dayton OH in 3.5 hours. Takes 10 hours to drive to Amarillo TX. I have a suspicion my order was shipped from the UK. We'll see, I have e-mail Mongoose, we'll see what they find out. As far as this ending up on a neighbors porch, I see my neighbors daily in the front yard and wave and talk, ver friendly street. We pass mis-delivered mail back and forth very timely.

Our casting also gets done up in Ohio (But at a different facility then Mongoose uses), I've had our shipments take 3 to 7 days on average, with a few taking 2 weeks... and one poor box of Hamster Berserkers that is about a year and a half overdue. USPS Delivery times are awful and often random.

That could be a long wait! The cards are now scheduled for March.

Greg I did the same thing email Neal and cancel the cards so it doesn't hold up your book order. He told me it was cool since they were originally scheduled for the same time. Good thing out of all this I have learned to order pre orders separately. I have never preordered a mini game before.

Got mine last Thursday. I still have two separate large orders pending, a Klingon Fleet Box with a couple of other blisters from December and a large number of blisters for the Feds and Klingons as a part of the original late October/early November pre-order and am still a bit confused as to when I should see them.

We are working on them now, you will certainly see them before the end of the month (and hopefully a good deal sooner!)

I ordered a copy for a friend from ADB, which I just picked up today. I'm still waiting for my pre-ordered book from Mongoose.
