Happy Halloween

Mongoose
I hope you all survive the ghosts and demons to come back and post again.

Well, most of you anyhow.

Just Kidding.

Just watch out for Hungry Jack. ( Be a good day to introduce new players to my favorite Pumpkin head I think)

I worked a twelve hour night and have not slept yet. At work, we answer calls for the fire service. Here in Ireland, we do a lot of bonfires on halloween night. We had 200 calls in five hours, with 4 people to deal with it.

There was one incident in a place called ballincollig, where at least 10 fire engines were sent to 3 large industrial estate buildings that thugs set alight.

I am bushed.

And I am running a rune quest game tonight. YAY!

It's not really a festival here in England - too close to our annual celebration of burning Catholics on Nov 5th.

However, the local yobs have bought their fireworks early....

Round our way, it's an excuse for cute toddlers to come up to the door in costume (with their parents standing well back) and ask for sweeties.

Later in the evening, you get the teenage yobs (no costume to speak of) coming round and demanding money with menaces.

Happy holidays...[sigh]
