No respect for HERO Traveller? OMG! j/k. I think that is definitely the least well known version of Traveller.

Were those actually separate game systems? I thought they were just 3rd party publishers.

No, they were systems in their own right... but you would instantly recognise them since they are very similar to what would become MgT1e.
I don't think they made it to print but the pdfs are on my hard drive.

Ah, okay. I saw a video advert about Lift Off, but I didn't pay much attention to it. Thought it was play aids and accessories for some reason. Avenger has a lot of published stuff, including their own setting for Traveller. Didn't realize they'd explored publishing a variant game system, too.
