Greetings & Question

Hi all, obviously I am new here.
I have become a big fan of Traveller Mongoose version, now trying to get some other people interested.
I have all the classic traveller books, as well as all the mongoose books. I think the changes are phenominal and coexist with the other version with little or no effort.

I do have a question though. Today I went to my local game store, and I asked him were there any new traveller books out. He checked, apparently the gm screen is out. He also told me 1001 pregernerated characters was out (not the official name), but I do not see this on the mongoose site.

I prepaid for both.

Is this out, or was it placed on preoreder status?

They are probably pre-orders, as distributors will start taking orders as soon as the manufacturers tell them about a product. Depending on how knowledgeable the counter monkey at your LGS is, "can be ordered" might equal "released" in his mind.

Supplement 7: 1,001 Characters however isn't due out till January.

FYI: You can check out the Traveller section of the Mongoose Publishing site for what is released/pre-orderable and get previews.

The official 'errata' is also available there - the Player's Guide, and several others that are labeled errata.

For planned future releases check out Planet Moongoose - this is one place were something like the Supplement 7 info would be found (and I wouldn't rule out FLGS having some inside info as well).

And, of course, this forum! As you can see - plenty of helpful folks around here...

Thanks for all the welcomes and information. It is greatly appreciated.
Not wanting to waite till January, and paying that early, I have decided to get the cash back and purchase it when it comes out.

Having all the other books, I am eagerly awaiting the new releases.
