Got a glimpse of Project N today

It would certainly be interesting. I've got a feeling I've got some fading suns stuff knocking around.

What I'm hoping though is that the ships are close to fleet action scale to make it easier to collect, store and carry them around.

Ohh Ohhhh !!!!!!!! I know what it is for sure now !!!!!!!!

DO NOT CLICK if you want to be surprised

SERIOUSLY !

Not sure it has been discounted elsewhere but could the new liceance be Noble Armada,It has been said upthread that the N refers to the space combat portion of the liceance(Noble Armada) and that the universe name is 2 words (fading suns)

Could be.

Ohh Ohhhh !!!!!!!! I know what it is for sure now !!!!!!!!

And Paizo gave the game away!

And off course Fading suns is compatable with Traveller,so maybe a deal could include that as well.

Red Brick are the current licence holders, and a 3rd edition is in the works. I can only imagine that it will be published via Mongoose's Flaming Cobra imprint.

As soon as you gave the wiki hint I knew what it was. I've been resisting the urge to run around saying "I told you so" to a few people since then.

I'll just wait to see how well the miniatures look compared to the old molds. I'm looking forward to seeing any new ships that Mongoose puts out; here's hoping they turn up better than the last B5 minis that popped up.

Well, although I've heard of Fading Suns and Noble Armada, I know nothing about the background other than what i read on wikipedia. Sounds a bit gothic/WH40K style for my taste but i'll give it a fair shake.

old old roleplaying game, was surprised when I saw it was still in existance, as my group played it a few times when we were young then moved onto better things (in our opinion)

so if this is it then um, ok then, Background is ok, nothings special, some older roleplayers will surely remember it, don't see it being one to catch the imagination of new gamers but surely depends on how well presented it is and how good the minis are.
If the game background is as in depth as the roleplaying game was, and the ships look swish, then no reason it can't carry the torch to firestorm, especially being based on a tried and occasionally playtested ruleset (please note, this is a light jest, this is in no way intended to anger the playtester of Greg.. and maybe Triggy, and anyone else who may actually have playtested the game, Matt kept it all close to his chest)

Well, that was fairly inevitable :)

Preview coming in a few hours. Just putting the finishing touches to things.

Hope the ships have been totaly redesigned they always seemed a bit flat and possibly good for paper modelling

90% of the original range has been refined and have newly designed moulds. A lot of new ships are already in production.

If anyone is interested, the original ships can be seen here: http://spaceship.brainiac.com/spaceship6.html#fadingsunsminis

Hey Matt get your ass in gear! ;-)

Looking forward to pictures of the ships, a list of what's in the boxed sets and what the plans are for further releases. Will these be plastic and/or metal? Some of the old NA were plastic.
