Good news in Planet Mongoose blogs!

I have a metal and plastic (well ceramic) ball joint as my hip, and its still going strong after 6 years and a fair bit of abuse :)

The technology is there, as to whether its cost effective to use in models is a different question altogether.

Hm. Did they actually use plastic? My understanding is that Teflon is generally used instead of plastic because the body doesn't destroy/reject it.

Anyway, no I doubt it's terribly cost effective to use it in a gaming market. Gaming companies are considered small potatoes. After all, the 800 lb. gorilla of the miniatures gaming world was considered 'too small' by the company who produced their spray paints.
