[GK Games] A Fifth of 21 Plots

Gypsy Knights Games

Cosmic Mongoose
A Fifth of 21 Plots, the newest in Gypsy Knights Games' puntastically named short adventure series, will be available in PDF form on May 26.  The book features 21 short adventures set within our Clement Sector setting, each with six different possible endings.   The adventures within are written by Bradley Warnes, "Big" Dan Callahan, Paul Santiago, William Wright, and myself.

The picture here is the cover of the book featuring the cover design by Stephanie McAlea and the art by Bradley Warnes.

The PDF will be $4.99 or $3.99 if purchased with all of the other books in our 21 Plots series in the 168 SF Plots Bundle.

While it is designed specifically for our Clement Sector setting, the adventures can be easily converted to most any science fiction setting.

How transferrable are these plots to the Traveller OTU or homebrew settings?

I think you could do it fairly easily. Most of them are not necessarily dependent on the Clement Sector setting to work. You would have to change some planet names, corporation names, etc.

Have a shot of adventure!

Coming up with a new adventure can be a challenging process and sometimes a Referee needs a helping hand.  Perhaps your campaign isn't quite ready.  Maybe the last campaign finished a session or two early.  Maybe your players have strayed from the expected path.

We're here to help you!

A Fifth of 21 Plots is the fifth in our puntastically named and highly successful Plots series.  The book presents 21 situations, each with 6 possible outcomes,  for science fiction gaming groups in need of adventure.  The book , while geared specifically at our Clement Sector setting, can be used with most science fiction settings.

A Fifth of 21 Plots also contains an index that can point you to the right adventure for your players not only within this volume but also for our entire line of 21 Plots products.

Like all our products, the main intention of this book is to provide an extra spark to the Referee's imagination.

Picked up a copy, went through it and eventually decided to piece meal a potential campaign or game idea from a mix of the ideas within!

So far have the following NPCs thought up:

Countessa Margaret Phillipa a noblewoman who was kidnapped by a suitor who was attempting to smuggle her back through the Consuit back to Earth but its collapse means her fate is very much in the players hands!

Cullen McArthur, a survivor of a ship that misjumped but was left in a low berth chamber for almost a century now wants to return home but his home is a world that suffered from an unexpected Ice Age resulting in it being abandoned.
He still wants to go home to pay his respects before getting on with his life.

Marcus Krait, a Caxtonite whose so convinced of his beliefs he has built his own army of followers and intends to seize a small colony to begin his own isolationist Sect but to do this he and his followers are acting as mercenaries to fund his vision.

Thomas Odel is a Pirate who specialises in ambushing targets right before they can refuel, he is so prolific that he doesn't check all of his plundered cargo pods storing some within an asteroid facility to deal with later.

Albert Boone lost his ship to one of Odel's lieutenants who is currently using his ship to ferry illegal arms to a colony their Corporate Sponsor wants to seize but needs "proof" so they can move in and claim the world rather than have the Hub Federation interfere.

Ximes Durango is Odel's Lieutenant and has stolen Boone's ship intent on supplying a colony with arms as Marcus Krait and his followers are intent on seizing the colony to achieve his vision unaware they're being used to secure a valuable resource world.

Charlotte Gagnon is their contact she's aware the survivors of Cullen's home world moved there following the last time they illegally rendered the world uninhabitable so they could move in and mine the world.
This time however there's no weather satellite system they can tinker with to speed up an Ice Age so they've settled back on using Krait's group to incite the colony into accepting the arms she had stolen before leading the Hub Federation there after making sure no one left alive is aware of her Corporation's involvement.

Ketta Berlin is Countessa Margaret's former suitor he assumed she was on the other side of the collapsed Conduit, eventually he'll discover she isn't and will make moves to recover her.
It turns out after she disappeared there was a coup that resulted in the death of her family and their murderer is now the ruler of her homeworld.
Being the legal heir makes her a threat to that tyrant and he wants her either killed or forcibly returned so he can marry her cementing his position, so mercenaries hired by both him and the tyrant are sent after her once news of her recovery gets released.

Yes I have a long way to go, but after one evening that's quite a lot of inspiration involved!
