Nice highlighting... I'd like it even more if it had stripes though...

I'd be tempted to try the striated look on the Minbari ship's ridges except I'm puzzled as to how to manage it without f***ing it up completely :?

I did the stripes with thinned down acrylics in several layers... Not easy, but will yield nice stripes... Problem is, I don't know how to highlight it wihout fracking up the whole ship. Doing it all over again will blow my brains out...

It's Minbari. It's supposed to be blue.

I'd be inclined to try drybrushing light blue for the highlights.

It's not the technique I'm worried about.. I'm finding it hard to find the spots that needed drybrushing as Minbari ships tend to have that very clean look..

I really like your take on Narn paint designs! The bold black looks really menecing. For some reason I was thinking 'crusade era narn' when I looked at them :P

i love what everyone does with the fighter stands now, i'll be having that for my Vree

allthough i have to say i'm pretty sure i seen Court Jester do it with his Minbari first?

I started to ages ago, I really didn't like the nubs on the bottom of my furies. Jester's just look way better than mine did :P (not saying I did it first, just that I wasn't inspired by him)

You people make me addicted to these forums. These ships are just so much fun to paint, I can paint one in just a few hours, and have it all ready to enjoy and show online. Then I am out of ships to paint, and my LGS doesn't have as many different ships. I really want to paint a G'Quan and they are always out of stock, so I get this twitch, this itch, to just paint more and more.

I am really enjoying this game. Tomorrow is league day for B5, so I'll probably come home with at least something new to paint. This addiction is killing my wallet =)

I will admit I was 100% influenced by Court Jester.

I really think those are the beginning of a Narn Fleet, at least a Raid 5 Fleet for now, until my ISA gets into the Battle areas in a respectable way. I'll have to figure out which Narn ships would make a fun Raid 5.

i really enjoyed the Ka'Toc and Varnic to paint. the Var'Nic is a little smaller scale wise than i think it should be but it's a cracking looking ship and plays really well in the game too.
