Gaining Electronics as a Citizen

Suppose a character takes Citizen Corporate as their first career. They have no Electronics skill yet. As per page 16 the Citizen takes their Skill set from their indiviual career list. Corporate Citizen gets Electronics (computers).
What skill would they get? Electronics 0 gives a trained check. If the character gains another skill level in Electronics they get to pick a sub set (such as Computers 1). as per page 56.

What is the intent with Basic Training Electronics (Computers)? or am I missing something?

Since it is 'Basic Training', The character will only gain Electronics 0 rather than the specialisation of Electronics (computers) 1. The reason it's listed as Electronics (computers) in that list though, is a limiting factor for subsequent training in that career. If you roll on that list and get the Electronics (Computers) You aren't allowed to suddenly take Electronics (sensors) instead.
