Has anyone received the G'Vrahn, Ka'Bin'Tak, or the Jump Gate model yet? If not, when are they going to ship?

Got my G'Vrahn and Ka'Bin'Tak last monday, preordered them three weeks before release date.

Anyone know why they went with that black, rear-mounted frame rather than the transparent rods between the gate struts? The rod arrangement looked a lot better...

I think the frame is a lot less obtrusive and more stable than transparent pods would be. The struts are pretty big, and come in two pieces (not counting the panels).

Although I suppose it boils down to a matter of taste. I tend to paint the bases black as well rather than leaving them clear.
