The Fourth Edition of Fire and Sword is now available, for free, at:

For those who are not familiar with Fire and Sword, it is a new system that clearly descends from RuneQuest, but has a number of distinct features. Twenty two hundred or so copies of earlier versions have been downloaded from the BRP Central website, making it the second most popular download on BRP Central {After 1st edition Mongoose RQ available for free}.
The new edition fixes some bugs identified in earlier versions, It also adds a somewhat better measurement system for fame, etc.
If you have an earlier version, I encourage you to upgrade. If you don't, I encourage you to check it out.
By the way, I'm the same Ray Turney that was one of the co-authors of RQ !&II, so I have design experience.
