Have to say, first time through got totally killed by the end battle. Second time through I was prepared - still a really hard battle though.
After that, well it's somewhat easier but you have to really go for it with the CS and never start of with anything less than a "9" on your "ahem" roll
I echo the thoughts about the Kai Crystal - would have been handy to uyse them elsewhere.
One question - I seem to recall in the original book there was an option which took you right into the King's citidal - I think it involved you becoming unconsious and being rescued by the King's pychician (I can't spell that word!) - only ever found it once and I've no idea how to find it again. Is it still in the original?
I think book 1 can be played so many times, in both the Classic and new format, as there is so much random stuff going on. Like the crazy old guy, the Cener druids, the Tomb of Ancients - brilliant stuff!
