Fairly sure it's meant to be a charged weapon that drives off large bugs, rather than a stick to whack them with. I know some of them are actually girls, but that's no excuse to hit like one.

Has the cost of the upgrade from Senior Ensign to Fleet Lt been clarified? Table says +45, text says +20 and the only benefit is a +20 trait.
So I'm guessing the text is right.

Soooo... has anyone actually got a proper Fleet Landing Party yet? I instantly ordered with glee, enthusiasm (and more importantly cold hard cash) the day they were announced, and a couple of weeks later I emailed Mongoose to ask if there was any news as they hadn't arrived. I got a reply asking me to wait for the full 28 days - but that itself was a month ago itself, and after mailing them again I've still not heard a peep...

Is it just me, and the rest of you are happily playing and painting them, or is there still a general delay in the FLP and I've just missed an announcement?

Since you're asking, I'd say my experience so far has been less than satisfactory. I ordered on September 4th. On the 11th of September I received the wrong order- plastic MI sprues with metal arms. Following my first communication I received two emails immediately thereafter that they were working on sending me the correct landing party. I sent another email on the 28th inquiring to the status and did not receive a reply. It's now been 5 weeks since I identified the order error and I'm still waiting for the fleet landing party. I'm giving it another week before I lose my patience.

I am getting annoyed myself waiting on an order that seems like forever. I was happy with th company's service until recently, now I just think it was crap. I sent an email to sales, which was ignored, the second one I sent was answered by Alex Fennell, saying he would pass it on, and got no reply then. Eventually the book in my order arrived, and a little note saying 'minis to come'. Still waiting on them.
