It's the Rule of Three: three weeks without food, three days without water, three hours without shelter. At least I remember something from my days as a Boyscout.

Yup... so, we would agree that access to reliable water supplies WOULD be something that a modern nation would go to war over?

Oh yes, I seem to remember it being a rather big issue a few years back between some nations in the Middle East. I imagine it will play a significant role in the forming of the MEA in the background I'm coming up with.

Potential flashpoint: in the last few days we heard about all those Arctic expeditions, flag planting, Titanic hoaxes etc. Maybe a war for North Pole is coming? US, Russia, EU and China all trying to grab the natural resources in Arctica - nice, not so hot place with no sand and no native population...

Well, they have their navy... and incredible resources at their disposal...

Fighting their way might be difficult . But come on, this is such a nice flashpoint and you want to leave the PLA out?

To each their own but I like my campaigns believeable
