Flashing Blades

From FGU. That came so close to brilliance and was well supported for a time too...

You can still order a copy of Flashing Blades, as well as all four supplements at www.fantasygamesunlimited.net. These are brand new mint copies for real cheap. Flashing Blades is only $12, and the supplements are less. Flashing Blades is a great game. The game mechanics for sword combat are brilliant, and I don't know of too many other RPGs about 16th/17th century France. Think 3 musketeers or the Baroque cycle by Neal Stephenson.
Admittedly, FGU has not been very active in supporting their products. They recently reprinted Aftermath! as one soft-cover book and put out a new Aftermath! Technology supplement, but that's about it. Nothing new for Flashing Blades.
Mongoose is so diligent about supporting their games that it might be nice if Mongoose published new material for some of FGU's games, but I don't think FGU would let them.

Always really enjoyed the whole Flashing Blades background when I 've played it. Have Mogoose asked the question about support? If FGU are still printing the games/supplements then they may be amenable to someone supporting with scenarios etc. and thereby increasing the gaming base for them.

DTRPG has them as follows in PDF (Scans, might be OCRed as well)

Flashing Blades: High Seas $3.50
Flashing Blades: An Ambassador's Tales $3.50
Flashing Blades $7.50
Flashing Blades: Parisian Adventure $3.50
Flashing Blades: The Cardinal's Peril $3.50

In general, the scans at DTRPG are not bad.

So US$22 for scans, or roughly £11...
