The description for flare ammunition list the duration as 1D + the planet’s Atmosphere rounds. The descriptions for an illuminating flare in Survival Gear is 1 minute before falling to the ground in Standard or Dense atmospheres, or half a minute in Thin atmospheres.
Seeing as the illuminating flare is fired from a flare launcher, should not both versions use the same duration?
Also, what is the area of illumination for the illuminating flare from a flare launcher? The flare ammunition has a burst of 100 meters but this is for a larger flare.
