Finally received Romulan Fleet Box

Punkska

Mongoose
Got home from work and sitting next to the door was the Romulan Fleet Box. My Federation and Klingon fleet had a few missing pieces, warp engines sensor dishes but I have been waiting for the Romulan Fleet so that Mongoose could send all the missing pieces at once.

Open the Romulan Fleet Box and immediately noticed something missing. No Condor was in the box! Five months late and after all the problems and supposed fixes and the Condor is missing from the box.

Needless to say I am very disappointed.

The person that heads up QC should be fired bottom line. I bet its just one guy doing everything himself. You waited 5 months yikes WTF!

It'll be a mispack, I imagine there's been a lot of pressure on the packers to get the Romulan Fleet boxes out, email Mongoose with your list of all the missing bits now you have everything (do check over the 15 ships you do have in the box though to make sure it's all correct), and hopefully you'll get it all within a week like I did.

Do say your unhappy though, because you are.

Just got my fleet box yesterday and the two royalhawks i ordered. Both royal hawks were missing their wing nacelles. Just about every order i receive is a mess. My condor is ugly to say the least and will take alot of prep time. QC is gotta be costing them money with all of the mailing of parts thats going on.

I must have been lucky then as I had have no problems at all with my Romulan Squadron / Fleet boxes at all. No missing bits or miscasts etc.

I've got two Fleet Boxes and haven't had anything missing or needing replaced (in fact, I've only ever needed replacement parts from Mongoose three times and I've bought hordes of ACTA:B5 and SST stuff over the years).

I don't think it's luck, Clanger. It's more that you're always going to have (far) more posts from folk with some problem or another needing resolved than you will from those that are perfectly happy with the product.

Same here, I had much more trouble with missing bits from other well known companies. One company in particular on my last 6 orders I've had missing bits in 4 of them.

The once or twice, over many years as a customer, I've had to contact Mongoose re problems, I have also been more than impressed with the speed of their recovery action.

I remember the time that I took back some walkers to a certain large game company.
Basically, there was a flaw on one of the weapon options that I wanted to know was it a miscast, or was it a design flaw (if it was a design flaw, there wouldn't be any point replacing it, so I'd jury rig a solution).
Lo and behold, they declared that it couldn't possibly be a design flaw, that it must be a set of miscasts, and that they would sent out 3 more replacement walkers ASAP. True to form, these had exactly the same flaw.

Well, I've had 6 resin squadron boxes and two metal fleet boxes (three counting the resin one that I returned) and every single product has ships that needed replacing, or parts missing.

However, Mongoose's customer service has been excellent (though you need to be patient). I've ended up with bonus ships (because they let me keep the crappy version and I spend the hours and hours making them ok) and even got a bonus fleet box out of the deal.

Plus these ships look fantastic when assembled and painted. They are well worth it. But I'm probably preaching to the converted. ;-)
