in game terms, a flight is one counter/model. A wing is an independent fighter unit consisting of 1 or more flights, depending on the faction and type of fighter.

if you're talking about buying models, they're packaged 4 flights to a unit now. If you're talking about allocating them as an indepentant wing to a fleet list, then you get a "wings worth" of flights, which varies by type. 3 starfury flights make a wing for example. But only 1 White Star Fighter is a wing, and its not even a patrol choice, it is a skirmish!
