Still need decaling (which is why they're gloss finished and have some missing detailing) and a bit of touching up here and there, but here's a few snaps of them as is:

Good Stuff, really nice paint work. Nice to see someone else doing the Federation in light grey!

Agreed, a very neat paint job! Light grey works well because then the windows and illuminated saucer panels show up. (I wonder if fluorescent yellow would work for those?)

The metallic scheme on the Klingon ship is also an interesting variation.

I like it, the paint jobs is very good and I agree with Adrian H - details are showing up nicely with the more muted colour scheme. The fleet looks really good grouped together like that.

Now I really wish I had the spare cash to pick up my first order, but don't think that'll happen for a month or so yet; still need to clear the decks a bit more first, and pay for the essentials.

Actually, the TOS Enterprise WAS a light gray, not white like most people think.

The metallic scheme on the Klingon ship is also an interesting variation.

I was thinking of something similar for the Klingon War Hulls (D5, D5W, F5W) - in my mental universe the Klingons wouldn't was resources or time painting the hull on what they considered disposable attrition units.
