At two pt battle it would be a primus and four vorchan/demos. If I wasn't on the wrong side of the planet I'd be tempted to try a primus/demos combo at this upcoming event.

I would love to try all the ancients in a squdron. Or maybe for a bit of fun a dag'kar escorted by 4 dag'kars.

A more sensible thing to do and something i like using, is 3 olympus gunships backed up by 2 hyperion rail cruisers.

Me too, I think they complement each other very well.

Also you'd get 4 scouts, which is even better.

As a pointless side, I almost wrote 'compliment' which is an entirely different thing. "I must say, black is definitely your colour Mr Shadow Ship". :lol:

And to be fair it did also say escorts rather than "which three-five big ships would you take?) This doesn't mean they have to be squadroned either as escorts often work better providing initiative sinks.

Point for point, it'd be the Amu and Two Things that Come in the Amu.

Self-escorting, this thing is dangerous in 10 different languages of awful. Even with just 2 CL's, it's bad. It's bloody enormous, GEG 4, and if it gets into the middle of the battle, it's absolutely hideous.

2). Dargan and two Maximus.
3). Tikrit, two Jashakar Tae, and 1 Ochliavita Ki. Cheap and horrid.

Well I have to say that my favourite group would have to be 2 Posidons backed up by two avengers abd a healthy escort of Omega's (4 standards).
