Favorite Big Ship And Its Escorts

Just out of curiousity, what is everyones favorite big ship to use and the escorts you send with it into battle? Mine is the Octurion with 3 Maximus Frigates.

um, depends on the priority and opponent really.

if it was completely irrelevant it would be a KBT and G'Vrahns although the speed difference would be a pain

Abbai Juyaca and a couple of Brakiri Haliks.

Even I'm not mad enough to field those by themselves, but that would do it for me in the vast majority of games where I can bring some support along.

If we're talking really big, then Vorlon Heavy Cruiser backed up by a couple of Light Cruisers. Anyone getting within 24" of that lot is going home in a carrier bag.

My flavour of the month is a Vorlon Light Cruiser (or Heavy Cruiser if I can afford it) with half a dozen Transports.

Of course, last month it was a Warlock escorted by four Chronos Frigates, who knows what next month will bring

Maybe...Warlock with 2 other Warlocks and the Victory in the middle, now that could hurt :shock: .

Hmmm may have to give this squadron a try.

I know it's underpowered for the priority level, but I still like the idea of a Nemesis escorted by a pack of Hunters.

Assuming the escorts have to be a lower PL, I'll go with a Victory with a pair of WS Carrier escorts for my ISA (Warlocks for EA)

If they can be the same, then a Victory, escorted by 2 Victorys

Why not go the whole hog and have a Victory escorted by 3 Victory's (or Warlocks).
Don't forget you can have 4 ships per squadron :wink:

Dang. Beat me to it. Though I'd use WSs or WSGs in place of the carriers. Not overly thrilled with the Carrier...

At Psi Corps High PL a Warlock (as Ally) with a couple of Hunters

As some seem to like the Very High PL why not the Triumviron with the Traveller as an escort?
