Farscape and / Stargate fleet combat using ACTA 2nd Ed

Just something I would like to see / play - especially if they made the ships!

Presume Farscape licence woud be cheaper than Stargate and both would only need a "fleet book" for the differences in rules................

I would love a stargate fleet game, but it would have to be set something like 20-50 years later, just to allow earth to expand their fleet beyond a few ships and a city.

I would definately like to see such a game myself, perhaps even an RPG for it as well as its got such a rich history. I know Alderac Entertainment did it but so much has happened since then.

I mean think of the races: Goa'uld, Ori, Replicators, Asurans, Ancient, Wraith, Lucian Alliance, Earth, Asgard and Jaffa. And there might be even more races appearing in the new season or the new show that comes along the way.

Ditto here. a playable starship combat system and an RPG would be nice. I have the old Alderac rules. It's just that I'm not big on D20 in most cases (although I did play Traveller 20 quite a bit.)

Hmmm... Mongoose Traveller: Stargate... I LIKE IT! Let's take it to Broadway!

Cooler yet, strike a deal with Phoenix Icons for miniatures and come out with Battlefield Evoution: Stargate.

I think the problem with Tok'ra are there few numbers and they never managed to get a mothership on the show as they prefer the ways of covert operations but mind you I can't see why they can't get a few motherships and perhaps something of their own design for a miniature line I mean the B5 line has Psi Corps which itself is a somewhat small scale faction so I think the Tok'ra would be somewhat doable even if they only make use of regular Goa'uld designs.

Oh well maybe if I ever finish Darkness Rising I can start that if Mongoose dont - although I would sooooo love em to do it !
