Eternal Champion

Would love to see Corum saga as Mongoose RPG. Especially if it led to a book based on a memorable Corum campaign a friend of mine ran a few years ago.

A new Corum game would be awesome.

I'd also be interested to see some kind of treatment of the Erekose novels - they've never been converted to an RPG before.

Shannon Appelcline produced an unofficial treatment for Elric! some years ago. It was published as an article in either Valkyrie or GMI magazines (can't remember which) and is floating around on the web (and my hard drive) somewhere...

Interesting - I didn't know that. I'll try out my Google-fu....

Me too!

Hey Loz, I read in an interview you did with Stormbringer!, that you wrote a Hawkmoon book, have you still got that floating in the ether somewhere? I'd love to see it.

Oh yes, its still floating around my hard drive. However owing to legal stuff its not something I can freely distribute. You won't find it online anywhere (at least, I've never posted it).

Bloody lawyers!

Any chance of pitching it to Matt as a side project from your Design Mechanism work (which is excellent BTW, particularly the way the PDF is hyperlinked)?

Its nothing to do with lawyers, and everything to do with the fact that Mongoose is the rightful license holder, and so it just wouldn't be professional to allow the Hawkmoon monograph into any form of circulation.

None. In my opinion Gareth Hanrahan did a great job on the MRQ1 version of Hawkmoon and Mongoose may want to Legendify that at some future date. My take on it would just muddy the waters.

Fair enough. I've got the MRQ1 version - the main differences are in PC gen and combat IIRC, so it shouldn't require a lot of conversion.

BTW I was only kidding re the "Bloody Lawyers" comment. I wouldn't like it either if someone released material that competed with a licence I owned or otherwise violated my IP and copyright. As you say, it's not what professionals do.
