Eternal Champion Series

Mongoose
Since Mongoose is "rumored" to have an Eternal Champions line how about the following:

In addition to the planned Elric and Hawkmoon releases, a Corum book would round out the Eternal Champion series. A later book, say, a "Eternal Champion: Multiverse" could provide several "minor" settings such as a world of Erekose (or two), an Urlik Skarsol setting and perhaps one or two other worlds of the eternal champion.

Sourcebooks on the Young Kingdoms- exploring the known Kingdoms and the unknown kingdoms of the east and elsewhere.

A book on the cults of law and chaos.

A book of sorcery would nice, assuming the world of Elric has its own unique brands of sorcery and summoning.

Adventures and scenario books are a must. Including a few scenarios that are "cross-planar."

Books exploring lesser known periods of the Young Kingdoms such as the war between the Melnibonean and Dharzi empires and a book exploring the rebellion and rise of the Young Kingdoms.

City books for Quaharzaat, Hwarmgaarl, Imrryr and other key cities- each complete with a scenario for exploration.

A science, sorcery and mutant resource book for Hawkmoon.

This would be one in which I would be willing to pick up. I always loved reading Elric,. I've got the two latest novels to read.

"Son of the White Wolf" and the "Skrayling Tree." I've read all of the other Elric novels!

Region books for the Young Kingdoms would be excellent as well, each complete with a scenario set in the region.

Hmm....would it be too much to hope for a miniature line or wargame based on the Young Kingdoms?

A regional book for the hawkmoon places would be nice as well. As well as a champions book- rules for being a champion of law, balance, chaos(sort of the eternal champion version of the legandary heroes.)

I think I'd rather see a miniatures game of Hawkmoon... All those beast-masked Granbretanians....

That's a interesting turn of event considering the reference that has been made with the 2000AD Slaine's arch villian Elfric annd this Elric of Menibone.

As stated here......

I know there has been rumors and talk over the years of a movie. I'm still waiting for this! I think it would be great, even though it would be very dark! With the success of the LOTR, hopefully there will be momentum on developing this series!

Not that its cannon to the source material, it's a very ambitious attempt to give some idea of how a Elric movie may turn out.

That was very cool! Thanks for sharing that! They only made one tiny mistake. It's supposed to be a black blade. But other than that it was pretty Awesome!

Congrats Matt! I read it last night! How close is it too the "Eternal Champion" novel series? Will you include the new stuff? I mean from the Skrayling Tree? Or what about from the "Son of the White Wolf?"
