Equipment in Legend

I am currently writing up an Equipment list for a Legend supplement and I was wondering which style of presentation people preferred.

The Legend rulebook has a table containing Name, Description, Culture, ENC and Cost.

This uses a lot of whitespace as a great deal of the table consists of nothing to line up with the description block.

An alternative format would be a paragraph description with the Cultuire/ENC/Cost at the bottom.

In the attached file, I have shown these as the imaginatively-named Format One and Format Two.

So, which is the better format?

Personally, I prefer a paragraph format rather than the table format, but that's just me.

Personally I like the paragraph format. If all entries will coform to the same basic data, you can just lay it out like a spell description, e.g.:

Item Name
Culture/Availability; ENC; Cost
TEXT PARA HERE

Of those choices, I also like the paragraph format.

But I vastly prefer a summary table that has name, short description, price and little else. Then a set of description paragraphs follow that. 90% of the time the table has everything you need, and you can copy it as a handout.
