Ok guys, this is an odd request. My player group has very little experience where the Hyborian Mythos is concerned. In fact, the required reading I suggested before we started play was the first Conan, other than the comcs and movies, they had experienced. I find myself running a campaign but having no one to just sound off ideas on, you know - shoot the "hyborian" bll with. The forum is great for particular questions but Id really enjoy corresponding regularly with another GM of the game and Conan Fan. SOmeone to sound ideas off of, ask questions, provide suggestions etc. If anyone is interested, Id really appreciate an email.

I'd be glad to chat, but I hesitated to respond at first because I'm not a GM, and you want GMing advice. I am also surprised by the lack of response. I do have a reputation as a "rules lawyer" in our group, and I have limited GM experiance in othe systems. I also love this game and know a lot of Hyborian background. Feel free to email. The view counters, as with all such counters on the web, are not 100% accurate. So when you checked it was almost certainly a fair few less than 34 people that had read the posting.

All of us on here are interested in discussing our hobby, eitherwise we wouldn't use a forum like this. I think where people start to become a bit more cautious is in entering into 1 on 1 private debates. The biggest issue will be the time thing but there's also the fact that the discussion would be private and other gamers wouldn't benefit from it, unlike what we talk about on here.

So don't take it personally. In an ideal world I'm sure that many of us would love to have extended 1 on 1 email chats about all things Conan, but something's got to give.

No Oly, Im not offended, just a bit suprised, and Im sure you correct in most not wanting to comitt to what they think might be a time consuming dialogue. I dio promise not to be a pest.

As far as sharing the information goes, I guess I can understand that too but as good a tool as the forum is, Id hate to waste its bandwidth on idle chatter, not to mention Im unable to discuss game ideas here as my players sometimes browse the site too. (I recommended that by the way)
