[Elric Companion] - Wyrm stats missing?

Kamelion

Mongoose
I'm reading through the excellent Elric Companion and noticed a reference to wyrms under the writeup on Anakhazan. On page 28 it talks about wyrms that drink men's souls and refers the reader to the chapter "Denizens of the Million Spheres". However, I couldn't find any details or stats in that chapter for wyrms.

Were they cut from the book or is this an oversight and they should have been included? If so, could they maybe be posted to the forum?

Many thanks!

This wyrm is limbless but winged, with a blind, snake-like head. It hunts by sensing the souls of its prey which it can do from a number of kilomteres equal to its POW/2.

The thing screeches with an ear-piercing volume. On a screech attack all within a number of metres equal to its CON+POW must pit their Resilience against the wyrm's screech in an opposed contest. If the wyrm succeeds, opponents are deafened and in pain for the next 1D4 Combat Actions.

If the wyrm succeeds in a Bite attack, it attempts to overcome the opponent's Persistence with its own. If successful, it drains 1D3 POW permanently, adding it to its own. When the target reaches zero POW, he is dead. A wyrm can store up to 3 times its own POW before it is satiated. If it can be killed and skinned within 1D3 hours, the stored POW (which is found in the monster's scales) can be made available to anyone who can use it. However the stored POW depletes at a rate of 1 point per hour and cannot be recharged.

Profound apologies for this omission!

Thanks for the swift reply! Those are some mean-looking beasties. I particularly like the ability to harvest POW from their scales. Good stuff. Thanks again.
