A host of classic magical items and artefacts are detailed, including the fabled Ship Which Sails Over Land and Sea. Notes are given on the themes of Elric - personal tragedy, companionship & betrayal, mythic resonance and the reversing of traditional fantasy tropes. Entirely new additional rule sets are given for the treatment of insanity in Elric, along with lots, lots more.

That'd be about right.

The Companion includes a lot of material we couldn't fit into the main rulebook. I'll be expanding that with some detail on the Unknown East, demon abilities (expanded from the main rules), additional material linking magic with cults, Insanity rules, themes, and a scenario. The book is thus about half-written but with a lot more to come.

Can these insanity mechanics be used to replace the frankly rather wet "legendary" ability of the Granbretanians in 'Hawkmoon'? A resistance of a single Persistence or Resilience roll per day doesn't really seem to cut it as a representation of Granbretanian instability.

The insanity system is tailored to Elric but I've no doubt it'll be portable - both to Hawkmoon and RQ in general.
