EAS Centurion scratch build

I have a mate who is something of a virtuoso when it comes to plasticard and modelling putty.
He’s the same guy mentioned in Centauri_Admirals Vorlon planet killer thread.
A bunch of us at our club play ACTA and he has recently got into the game and to kick start his ship collection he scratch built some generic models he could use as any thing while he learnt the rules and decided what to buy first.
Since then he has bought a Narn fleet but has continued his scratch building, which brings me to the point of this thread. He announced that for Xmas he was going to build each of us at the club who played acta a ship as a present (hence Centauri_Admirals VPK).
For me he made the EAS Centurion from the E.F.N.I. web site, here are the first pics what say you all?

Personaly i think he's brilliant for making me such an amazing present on the other hand i'm jealous as hell about his skill and think he's a b*****d.

It is a good build but I don't like the guns being so big, don't get me wrong except for the turret size i really love it

I believe the Nike is on the same site but is a cruiser this is a super dreadnought and is called the Centurion either way i'm a happy bunny :lol:

My whole fleet is supposed to be an EA Russian federation break away faction and while looking through a book of military ubiforms saw a pic of a Spetznaz soldier wearing a red/brown uniform and liked the colour so thats how i'm painting the fleet. As to the avatar it's me.....do i know you?

Call me critical, but I honestly dislike the Nike hull "trend" on EFNI.
For the NIke it's fine, but for so many ships of many different classes to share the basic hull design (Boreas, Centurion, Vigilante, Gladium, etc) is boring IMO.

I like esspecially the fusion pulse turrets.

Funbeast, if your mate takes commissions, I'd buy one of those, and I think plenty of other players would be too.
