(All of this is pursuant to any editorial changes which might be made, mind you.)

So we might end up getting 128 pages of Spoo recipes?

Given the food situation on Mars, that would most likely be Neospoo, Soyspoo, or Spu. :)

I'll be outline the Earthforce book in the next week or two - what would you like to see in it?

What would be really, really handy would be some illustrated command structure diagrams for a few choice different vessels (cutter, cruiser, destroyer, carrier), ground forces (infantry, cavalry, engineering) etc, with guideline ranks, who reports to who etc.

A chunk on military law, what consitutes mutiny etc (in my experience that kind of thing comes up very often :) )

Squad structures for covert ops of varying types (you know what players really want to be doing...).

A write up on the changes come the ISA era (new vessels - Apollo, Chronos, Delphi and Warlock - oh and shoe a couple of nice new ones in there as well (next gen Explorer), plus some variants for those (Command Warlock for instance - AOG did have one under consideration, Bruce'll know...)

Obviously a few ground/atmospheric vehicles benefitting from the receipt of AG technology for the ISA era.

Lots of historical units (Nova Alpha, Starfury Nova etc).

Pictures of Ivanova.

A crew roster for a sample ship - ie how many officers, engineers, gunner, marines etc.

Running Earthforce campaigns, not just aboard Starships.

Pictures of Ivanova.

Relations between Earthforce and Earthdome, Psi Corps etc.

Earthforce during and after the civil war, ie discipline, mutinies, relationships between fellow crewmates, between officers and enlisted, between captains and generals.

Did I mention, pictures of Ivanova?

What you could do is what mongoose did for the ranger book have order of battle at least for space force during different time periods. like on section is earthforce pre first contect, pre dilgar war, dilgar war and modern era order of battle. but for modern era include with each oob a selection of new replacement ships to represent a post 3062 earthforce battlegroup. I am assuming that earthforce ground combat order of battle is much easily to do because the equipment has been the same during the much of earthforce history.

What I'd like to see in the Earthforce sourcebook:

A reference to Irn-Bru (If you can clear it with Barrs of course). I'm happy to be your tech adviser on that one.

Pictures of Ivanova.

And in the Free Mars sourcebook:

More info on the Psi COrps secret bases, unless they were pretty much done in the Corps supplement.

Pictures of Number One!

THe reasons, genesis and path of the resistance and food riots.

Thanks in advance,

LBH

Affirmative on one and three. Two is up to the art and layout department.

The Mars book was finished a while ago. There's a long editing/approval process on most B5 books.

Lizard one question in general terms how long does it take for babylon 5 rpg book to go form concept to street date.

Mongoose gar by outlining do you mean providing the author with an outline of the what the book should have in it. and if everything goes well it should be going to the print shop happily by the beginning of august. Warner "Bros who approve the books get what a complete manscupt ith pictures that can be easily modified to help get it to the print shop.

1. Ship plans so that characters have something for when they are on a ship.
2. Weapons
3. Pay rates based on Rank, Dependants, housing ("Off base" or base housing), food allowances, etc.
4. Explain how someone raised on Mars can get into Earthforce since Mars gravity is 60% of Eath's  Mars born would not be able to do as many pushups, situps or run as far on Earth for Basic Training (you will talk about that, I assume).

Maybe some mention of things left out of the EA Source book:
1. TK ratings (Gar teased us with them in Psi Corps), and the prestige class was there (not that I agreed with it since you would think that PCs would not be part of the half that were not insane or mental) did not have the TK ratings. Psi does not allow insane Telepaths out and about...
2. Reserved....I know there was something else, but I have taken 8 calls since then...

Now that is something that is essential. People on these boards have been asking for EF rates of pay since day one.

TPs and TKs are not allowed in EarthForce so I son't see that being in there. Even though TPs are allowed as military attaches I seriously doubt the Corps would allow TKs to take up that dangerous assignment.

By the Crusade era, though, Psi-Corps reforms do allow Teeps in Eathforce, IIRC.
