Earth/Centauri War fanmade scenario pack

Gotta try the ships at a couple different pl level fights to know, ships that are over the top get camoflaged in big fights, and weak ones don't show how weak when they have a lot of support. Need a couple of different level fights to know, one reason the 5 raid was good level to test, reasonable number of ships but not too many.

That said, nice to see a report on the scenarios. We've been looking to do more smaller fights lately to test a few things so haven't had the time.

If I find a small scale scenario in the pack I'll give it a go ; )
That said I'm pretty comfortable about most of those assesments.
Most of them seemed pretty balanced except the Valerius which has just a little too much firepower in it's batteries compared to any other similar ships (such as Octurian, Dilgar war ships, Pak Ma Ra or Adira) It's obviously intended as a high end war ship, but when I'd take one over a warlock or a G'vrahn I'm pretty sure it's a bit too hard. That said it's only a little bit better in my opinion just knock a couple of dice from it's ion cannons or matter cannons or give it an extra 3 dice of beam but take away either precise or double damage (the 2 combined are just such a frightening combination).

What I want to know is... from the people that know about these things...

Are the ships in this suplement balanced vs each other... i.e. for playing games in isolation during the 2301 timeline between the EA, Centauri and Narn... And not trying to balance them across the whole game for pick-up games?

looking back over it now I think the only ship really broken is the Valerius class. maybe I should tone it down, but for now it will stay as is.

also must say lookout for a new updated one laid out by court jester, its looking really good and i cant wait to see the finished product.

well more piccys/art from what I have seen of his work so far. overall making the pack look so much better than anything i could have done whilst hes doing that I might tone down the Valerius, suggestions anyone?

Well, as you probably guessed from my pack I really like special characters

Maybe a Grand Admiral each side - perhaps a meddling technomage?

Maybe a couple of smaller scale scenarios?

A defence of a Earth Force Outpost maybe or a last stand by elements of the Centauri fleet away from the main battle..........

Be interested to know more details fo the rest of the galaxy as it happens.........

Can I chuck the same question at you as I am looking to add afew things to mine ?
