EA Marathon construction question

I can see that the Marathon has one gun mount on the bow, but does it use the other four gun turrets that come on the sprue? If so, where do they go? Are they just extra and I can put them on it wherever I want or just have a few bitz extra for other use?

They are extra. Although I ordered a few more sprues and went to town...
