Funny thing is, Marta's mum does not know what she's done. You ever seen a Polish Mother rant, you'll soon hear it all the way in Bristol

well shadow ships can be SM and they didnt avoid the e-mines so the e-mines are fast enough. also the blast you see is huge and i doubt any fighters could clear the area that quickly anyway.

I've never understood why e-mines ignore dodge, I mean in that one episode in the Narn Centauri war, when the Narn's are jumped by shadow ships we see a e-mine explode, they seemed to explode as a circle (2d) and not a sphere (3d), so what I'm wondering if something can go over it or under its main explosion plane, why wouldn't dodge apply? Even if the explosion isn't really 2d it sure seems close to being 2d. close enough that if a fighter saw the energy orb coming they might be to jink up or down to stay out of the blast radius, then again this could be a example of poor scaling on the show, or just a faulty piece of memory, my own, having not seen that episode for years.

just the limits of tv and sfx guys. In reality explosions (unless shaped) travel outwards in all directions, so 3d

I assumed that they were shaped to cover more distance but I'm no space or explosive expert so, oh and they did a fine job with Sheridan's nukes. :P

Shaped charges to go off in a 2-D plane would work way better in Trek than in B5. In Trek, everyone stays on the exliptic, barring a couple of freak occassions
